I suspect my japanese was very bad, and considering that and how close you guys were I think you can both get a gold star! *
Anyway here's what it should say, as long as I haven't messed up my japanese too much:
Exams and Divine Punishment
Tomorrow I have my first exam. My first, final exam! Tomorrow! It's like a divine punishment, the exam. It's frightening. [insert emoticon 1 here] But... I'm speaking japanese. Why? Is it that scary? [insert second emoticon here]
Notes: I used saisho and saigo cos I like their similarity, but they probably aren't really the appropriate words for the levels of meaning I wanted.
'no you ni' means 'like [the noun or phrase before no], or seems to be, literally i think it's like 'to the appearance of'
Konna, Sonna, and Anna are, if I remember rightly the series (question=Donna) relating to this sort of, that sort of, or to this extent, that extent, so 'Sonna kowai' would mean 'this scary' in the sense that it does in English. I think.
